Am I who I want to be?

I received this in an E-Mail earlier and now I am taking the time out to find whats in my heart.

Dearest Amanda,

Good morning to you (by Pacific Northwest standards). How has your day been so far?

Lately, I've been contemplating what it means to be 100% me.

I tend to get so caught up in trying to accomplish things that I forget that my achievements -- however big or small -- don't always equal who I am & who I want to be.

Sometimes I try to accomplish things to attain that fleeting sensation of self-worth, importance, mastery. I do this to prove to others how much I've got it together, how wonderful I am at dotting all the I's.

And in doing so, who I want to be gets lost in the shuffle.

To bring more awareness to this conundrum, I compiled a short list of all the things I want to be.

They're not daydreamy, over-zealous notes of what I want to be when I 'grow up.' No, they're realistic, commonsensical, & strong reminders of my own power. I know that if I work hard to be fully conscious throughout the day, I can acquire that magnificence; I can be who I truly want to be.

Today I want to remind you that this is your life.

Are you who you want to be?

Who do you want to be?

Ask yourself those questions; really reflect on them. Perhaps even journal them.

If you feel inclined to, you can share your answers here. I'd love to know who you want to be.

Yours in love & liberation,

Ev`Yan

I want to be understood.
I want to live for me and not others.
I want to be closer to God.
I want to have a relationship with my mom.
I want to be wanted and loved.
I want to feel special.
I want to be successful in life by happiness.
I want to do ballet.
I want to be patient because whatever it is...it's worth waiting for.
I want to love myself and my body fully.
I want to write a book.
I want to sing a song.
I want a wedding.
I want to be confident.
I want to be open-minded.
I want to change somebody's life.
I want to adopt from another country.
I want to be slow to anger.
I want to travel the world.
I want to go on a date.
I want to be proposed to.
I want to have peace when I am alone.
I want to know my dad's "actual" cause of death.

I want too many things. But there is a little bit about what I want for myself and out of life. <3

lulu bug jewelry

As I was doing my usual check-up on Etsy, I found a really lovely shop!!

----->>lulu bug jewelry<<-----
**By Sue who hand makes the beauty you will see**

I'm in love with all the jewelry. It's so inspirational. Like the one below!!

I would love to wear this around my neck everyday because who wouldn't?! If anything is going wrong in your day, you can simply be reminded that it's okay. :)

This is another one I love ^^^ I need to remind myself a lot that I CAN do something! Partial the reason I started this blog today. I CAN do it, whether it becomes more that I plan or not. I don't have to be successful at blogging in means of money. Shoot, to me being successful in blogging would be to actually have followers who enjoy me and my writing and my fabric hair clips.

Lastly, another favorite

How sweet is that?! Make a wish :0

So what are you waiting for?! Go check out this lovely Etsy site and show some love. :)

I would love any positive/negative advice about my Etsy shop and my blog.
